A History of Legal and Military Service
Before founding the law firm of Joseph A. DeWoskin, P.C., Attorney at Law, in 2000, attorney Joseph A. DeWoskin spent almost 9 years serving on active duty with the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. His in-depth experience with military law helps us to effectively serve clients who currently or previously served in the armed forces.
We are licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas, as well as the Army Court of Criminal Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U.S. Supreme Court. We serve clients in Jackson, Cass, Clay and Platte counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth, and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. By sharing an office space with other attorneys with whom we frequently collaborate, we're able to deliver the personal service of a sole-practitioner's office combined with the resources of a large firm.
